A collection of previously unreleased pieces recording from 1995 and 1999, this
does not contain any of the material from the long promised releases like "Brak", etc., but will have to hold us over until those surface. the present material from this long time friend of Cranioclast focuses on rather mysterious mostly instrumental pieces, all rather minimally accomplished. no excess of sounds, just what is needed to evoke some creepy atmospheres. however, lest you think that Kallabris is all serious and dark, the CDR (which totals up to almost 71 minutes), ends with the 29 minute piece "Kafkwater". this final opus would appear to be a sort of deconstruction of a Led Zeppelin song very slowly evolving, this is no hard rocking number, but does break into some rather 'groovy' moments. as weird as this may look in writing, it does work and is an enjoyable piece and a strong inclusion here. numbered edition of 100 copies.
